Located in the heart of the Quantitative Fortress, The Procrustean Inn offers rigid accommodations for researchers who value compliance over validity. Featuring our famous "Iron Beds" and complimentary sawing services.
Check-in: 14:00 (Strict)
Prohibited Items: All "Hidden Transcripts" must be surrendered at the front desk. (Scott, 1990)
Dress Code: Banker's Suits only. No fluid attire.
βΉοΈ What I didn't like:
I was assigned to the "Standardized Rubric Suite" (Items 1-15). The staff (Bal & Trainor) insisted on amputating my "Cultural Nuance" to fit me into Item 13. They claimed my history was "statistically insignificant." The "Bayesian Escape Hatch" was locked!
π What I liked:
The "Bureaucratic Aesthetic" is top-notch. The staff wears very sharp "Banker's Suits." If you don't care about your limbs, the housekeeping is impeccableβthey scrubbed away all power structures.
"Finally, a place that measures up!"
π Positive: I slept so soundly knowing all variables were controlled. No messy subjectivity here. The towels were perfectly standardized.
"Soul crushing."
βΉοΈ Negative: My 'Thick Description' was shredded at the door. I asked for context, they gave me a p-value.
